SUMNERS COMPLETE THE ITALIAN JOB!
Lazzari signs for Sumners...
Sumners Athletic are delighted to confirm that they have signed Italian forward Gabriele Lazzari. Gabriele, a forward, brings a new dimesion to SAFC's attack with great technique, awareness and ferocious left foot. Gabriele has not played football in the UK since moving but played to high standard in Italy with Montevarchi C.A. 1902. Gabriele goes staright into the squad for match with Oakwood United on Sunday.
Jeff Coupland said:
"We are really pleased to have signed Gabriele as he will add another quality attacking option. He has great ability and that has been clearly evident from when he has trained with us. He should make his debut on Sunday.
As regards the squad, I am now happy with both the size and quality of it. I do not think we need anymore players and I have no intention of signing any unless we get injuries or players leave. I feel this squad is certainly good enough to compete."
